

Mr. Wagner has been an attorney in private practice specializing in energy industry transactions and regulation since 1986. From 1997-2004, he was a partner at a major international law firm, where he advised clients on energy purchase and sales transactions, asset acquisitions and restructurings and development and financing of energy and other infrastructure projects. He also advised clients on transaction-related regulatory proceedings, including FERC, PUHCA, and state approvals.
Mr. Wagner has experience with non-conventional energy sources, including, from 1982-1986, service as general counsel and vice president-development of an alternative energy company in California. Mr. Wagner has also represented non-US clients in energy projects and legal and regulatory matters, both in the US and abroad. He has given numerous presentations and authored articles on electric industry deregulation and transactions, and has been named in Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Energy and Natural Resources Lawyers.
Mr. Wagner is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the Energy Bar Association.
